Each 66-card starter deck is custom-built for one of the 9 character classes. Plus, the decks also contain 2 booster packs to customise and expand their deck, and 3 out of 16 playable oversized Hero cards available only in starter decks!

The Heroes of Azeroth Booster packs allow players to construct decks for casual and tournament play, and are the most cost-effective way to complete their set. Players can enhance their online Warcraft character via uniquely-coded rare Loot Cards!

Each Booster Box contains 24 packs with 16 game cards inserted per pack.

The first World of Warcraft TCG release, Heroes of Azeroth (HoA), consists of 361 cards.
There are 5 different levels of rarity, indicated by the color of the card number:

Common (White),
Uncommon (Green),
Rare (Blue),
Epic (Purple),
Legendary (Orange).

Legendary cards are alternate versions of regular cards with special scratch panel codes on them for online MMORPG game redemption.

HoA contains the following: 114 Commons : 99 Uncommons : 110 Rares : 22 Epics : 16 Heroes : 3 Legendary
Each booster pack will contain 10 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 hero, and 1 rare, epic or legendary.

Each epic is considered twice as hard to find as a specific rare. 3 legendary cards have 3 different rates of insertion. One is equivalent to a rare. Another is equivalent to an epic. The third is twice as rare as any given epic.

Rarest Legendary card approx. 1:500 packs;
Medium Legendary card approx. 1:250 packs;
Common Legendary card approx. 1:125 packs.

Heroes of Azeroth has no foil cards. The treasure pack from the Onyxia's Lair raid deck will. All cards in the treasure pack are expected to be exclusive to the raid deck.
